BRANDING

From employees, to employers. A new barbershop experience is born.

Jay and Josh approached us to help develop their brand and bring their new barbershop vision to life. Having both worked in barbershops previously, they wanted build on their experience and leverage it by opening their own shop, and doing things their way.

The aim was to create a brand that positioned the business as a contemporary and innovative barbershop, more than just a place to get a haircut. With an audience age of 16-45, we needed to make sure the aesthetic didn't lean too much to either side, therefore alienating any particular age group.

The brand uses a monochrome colour palette, with the curated use of neon green as the brands' accent colour. This introduced a sense of energy, and along with the corner piece, provided instantly recognisable elements that would become synonymous with the brand as it grows.

To add to the experience of the brand we created a range of printed material and products, creating additional touch points that helped position the brand. Not only enhancing the brands aesthetic, these products made sure the Levels Barbershop brand continued to be exposed to more people, in more places, long after people have left the physical shop.

I was recommended Squared Creative from a good friend of mine, and wasn’t disappointed at all. Elliot had a in depth chat with us about our exact plans and vision for the business so he got a good idea what we were all about, and where we wanted to take the brand. We got everything we could ever want and more when it came to the full branding of our shop. Even after his job was done, he still took time to make sure we had everything we needed when setting up our business. Couldn’t recommend them enough.
